The Savvy Sixties, one of Temple’s original Sh’ma groups, is a group of empty nesters, living primarily in Far North Dallas, that focuses on meaningful conversations around Jewish topics and issues. They meet monthly in members’ homes for pot luck lunches, participate as a group in Temple activities and plan an annual Shabbaton. The group attributes its success to commitment to its Judaic content and emphasis on regular attendance at meetings.
