Handwritten Passover Sermon Notes from the Early 1900s, and More
One of the things I love about being an archivist is that I find unexpected gems hidden in those innocuous looking boxes. When I found several boxes of composition books from the early 1900s filled with handwritten notes and sermons from Rabbi William Greenburg, I was amazed. We rely on computers so much nowadays, but there’s something about a handwritten text that feels magical. As you read over some of Rabbi Greenburg’s notes and sermons, you’ll see that many of his observations are still applicable today.
Check out this handwritten text, and more, at our online Passover archive exhibit.
