Season of Mussar II is in session from September 16 – December 16, inviting participants into the Jewish practice of spiritual ethics that has guided seekers for centuries. Rooted in teachings created by The Mussar Institute and endorsed by the Union for Reform Judaism, Mussar helps cultivate the qualities of the inner mensch by exploring middot—soul-traits such as patience, forgiveness, simplicity, lovingkindness, strength, and faith. Open to all regardless of prior Jewish knowledge or Hebrew fluency, the program blends study, reflection, and practice to foster awareness, balance, and growth. Through group learning, partner study, and personal exercises like journaling and mindful action, participants engage in a discipline that uncovers the soul’s inner light and offers a path toward wisdom, wholeness, and spiritual transformation.
