Get happy at All-In Shabbat on Feb. 20 as we celebrate Adar, described by the Talmud as the month in which joy increases. (Cue Purim, which arrives two weeks later!) Spend a soul and spirit-pleasing evening with us as we bring in Shabbat in art, song, story, prayer and food.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. with Chavayah (experience), featuring hands-on joy stations for all ages, including joy jar creation, Purim mask-making and note-writing for our Noya’s Bear stuffed animal collection. At 5:30 p.m., enjoy a special storytelling by Rabbi Amy Rossel geared for our young families with children up to age 5.
At 6 p.m., we’ll gather for an all-ages-friendly Shabbat service led by Cantor Vicky Glikin and Rabbi Kimberly Herzog Cohen, featuring Kol Shir and the Shir Joy youth choirs. Stay after the service for a congregational dinner and more time to enjoy the Chavayah activities—because joy is meant to be shared.
