Assistant Director, Family Engagement and Youth Education

The Assistant Director, Family Engagement and Youth Education, will oversee and manage family engagement opportunities, youth education programs, and parent community-building events for school-aged children and their families, with particular attention on families with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. This role and work is part of the Youth Learning + Engagement (YL+E) Department, Temple Emanu-El’s central home for our Jewish education and engagement program that currently serves over 600 students and their families from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This role will serve and guide Temple Emanu-El families and children towards broader and deeper engagement within congregational life, actively partnering with lay leaders, parents, staff, faculty, and clergy to execute a new approach to youth education and family engagement. This position reports directly to the Director of Youth Education.

Communications Associate

The Communications Associate is responsible for a wide range of duties to support the Communications Department in the areas of graphic design, written communications, project management, digital marketing and engagement, and supporting web-based resources. The Associate will work closely with the entire communications department to meet the needs of the congregation’s diverse community.

ECEC Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant holds a key position and requires a strong relationship and ability to partner with our Temple Emanu-EL Technology, Finance, and Facilities departments as well as our ECEC Parent Association, staff, and admin team and as such requires a style that is both personable and efficient to convey a positive first impression of the school. You are also a main contact for parents, faculty, and staff for help in obtaining information, forms, supplies or services.

Member Care Team Summer Internship

Temple Emanu-El is seeking an enthusiastic summer intern to assist with various tasks and responsibilities in the Advancement office. Under the direction of Alex Horn, Director of Membership, the Intern will be involved in updating records and supporting daily operations of the office, as we prepare for the new fiscal year. This is an in-person position.
