The Karla & Larry Steinberg Center for Jewish Learning offers so much more than Sunday and Hebrew learning. Throughout the year, students in Kindergarten through 6th grade have opportunities to build friendships and deepen their connection to the Temple community through Youth Engagement programs. These include fun, themed events like Purim parties, chocolate Seders and Parents’ Night Out evenings.
For teens at Temple, there are even more ways to get involved, including our new Teen Engagement Board, which helps plan programs and shape the teen experience at Temple. Teens also have the opportunity to participate in special trips, including a powerful Civil Rights Journey for 8th and 9th graders that brings Jewish values to life through hands-on learning and exploration. For more information, contact Megan Sims, Assistant Director of 7th-12th grade Education and Engagement.
