From Strength to Strength Announces Search Planning Team  

Temple President Sara M. Albert has announced an exciting next step in the congregational transition, From Strength to Strength.

A group of eight lay and staff leaders comprises the new core team for the search for a new senior rabbi. The group will be responsible for creating the job description, reviewing candidates, and adding additional members to the search committee as the process progresses.

“I cannot imagine a brighter, more dedicated group to provide the necessary consistent leadership and thoughtful stewardship for each of the stages of the senior rabbi search process: planning; interviewing and deliberation; and transition and integration,” Sara says.

This group will oversee three major projects: the preparation for the senior rabbi search, the search itself and the transition to a new senior rabbi. As each stage gets underway, additional lay leadership will be added to the team.
