The Soul of Poetry with Rabbi David Stern and Valerie Taylor

Explore the power of poetry as a tool for spiritual growth in this four-session course led by Rabbi David Stern and Valerie Taylor. Through the lens of four Jewish themes—gratitude, grief and memory, justice, and connections—participants will engage with poetry from both Jewish and non-Jewish voices. The sessions combine analytical and experiential approaches and are designed to build on each other for a deeper journey into personal meaning and reflection. Learners are encouraged to attend all four sessions, as themes, skills and practices will build on one another.
