8th/9th grade Civil Rights Trip Info Session

All 8th and 9th graders are invited to join us for a civil rights journey through Alabama and Georgia February 25-28. The journey includes a mix of fun, sightseeing, education and meetings with organizations and people who have been and are still involved in civil rights advocacy.

Participants will learn about the struggles of African Americans to gain equality in the 1950s and ’60s, as well as discover how Jews were involved in the civil rights struggle. Learn more in this info session with Rabbi Michael Lewis and Mandi Toppel, Assistant Director of 7th-12th grade.
