A SHABBAT SHIRAH PRAYER CONCERT WITH TEMPLE EMANU-EL CHOIR & TURTLE CREEK CHORALE
Sea Crossings celebrates the moment when our ancestors left Egypt and discovered the promise of freedom, healing and hope. Join the Temple Emanu-El Choir and Turtle Creek Chorale, an acclaimed Dallas-based predominantly gay men’s chorus, for an evening of prayer and song. Journey with us across the Sea and feel inspired and connected to our shared humanity, God and the wisdom of Judaism.
The Shabbat evening service on Jan. 30 will follow a different format than most Friday night services. It will open with traditional liturgy, then will move into the Shabbat Shirah prayer journey with the Turtle Creek Chorale and the Temple Emanu-El Choir. The Kaddish will be recited at the end of the service, following the presentation by the two choirs.
