Zionism 101 with Muki Jankelowitz

This Israel Lunch ‘n’ Learn session will seek to clarify what exactly Zionism is by exploring some of the different questions that have animated Zionist thinkers: Is Zionism a continuation of Jewish history or a revolution against it? Is the establishment of the Jewish State a sufficient condition for a Jewish Renaissance, or only a necessary one? What is more important being a sovereign majority or controlling more of the land of Israel? What is the role of religion? How do a people that have long been a minority handle being a majority?
