Connect with Temple members and art lovers to view this special exhibit of two paintings, both on loan, in an artistic conversation. For the first time ever, see Johannes Vermeer’s “Woman Reading a Letter” (1663) juxtaposed with Salvador Dalí’s “The Image Disappears,” (1938). You’ll also see a selection of Dalí’s “Aliyah” series from the Meadows’ collection, and Dalí’s L’Homme Poisson, the only painting by Dali in a public collection in Texas! The tour will be led by Nancy Cohen Israel, Temple member, art historian and manager of docent programs at the museum.
