Learn about this important 20th century Mexican American sculptor whose work holds a prominent place in Temple’s history. Medellin created the mosaic sculpture created “The Promised Land” on the exterior wall east of Linz Hall as you approach the doors to the Olan Sanctuary entrance, as well as the shimmering silver, gold, blue and green mosaic tiles that form the candelabra on the Olan Sanctuary ark wall.
