Balin\, Ph.D.\, one of Reform Judaism’s leading scholars on gender studies\, will honor Temple’s 150th anniversary with a weekend of learning designed especially for Temple that recognizes the role of women in our community and in our movement. After Havdalah\, Rabbi Balin will bring the Jewish past to life by blending storytelling with history. As the current chair of the Jewish Women’s Archive Board\, Rabbi Balin will speak on gender and the Jewish experience\, particularly the dynamic ways lay leaders have shaped and continue to inspire Temple and our greater Dallas community.
