SUMMARY:YL+E Kindergarten and 1st Grade Preview Day
DESCRIPTION:Current Pre-K and Kindergarten students are invited to join us for YL+E Preview Day! This is a great opportunity to check out YL+E and experience the magic of Sunday mornings. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m.\, and students will be placed in Kindergarten classrooms for the day with our students. This drop-off program allows the kids to experience what it’s like to be at Temple on a Sunday morning. While the kids are engaging with teachers and meeting new friends\, come grab some coffee and nosh in the Celebration Garden\, where you can ask questions and meet other families. This program is open to Temple members and non-members.

SUMMARY:Spiritual and Emotional Well-being Workshop: Jewish Perspectives on Mental Health
DESCRIPTION:In the season leading up to Passover — of moving from slavery to freedom\, from narrow to wide-open spaces — Rabbi Debra Robbins and Meredith Pryzant\, MSW\, will co-lead an interactive three-week Jewish workshop on mental wellness to help congregants on their journey toward mental and spiritual well-being. This free\, in-person-only class will explore Jewish values for building a healthy community\, examine the connections between spirituality and mental health\, and provide mental well-being tools for your own practice. \nThe course will use a workbook by The Blue Dove Foundation which will be provided\, and each week will explore a different topic — cleansing negativity\, ritual\, community and rest — and offer space for reflection\, journaling\, art and activities. Participants must commit to all three weeks; each week builds upon the previous week and drop-ins are discouraged. \nThis workshop has reached capacity.
