How Does WRJ Help: Connect to Our Dallas Area Community

  • Vickery Meadows neighborhood projects: financial and volunteer support including Heart House after school tutoring program, Vickery Meadows Food Pantry and Pebbles Apartments
  • Leah’s Kitchen Thanksgiving celebration: WRJ volunteers serve a wonderful meal lovingly donated by the Pollman family to Vickery Meadows students and their families
  • Interfaith study through Daughters of Abraham: Jewish, Christian and Muslim participants, with multi-faith discussions and learning about our 3 different religions with women representing issues we all share
  • Maple Lawn School Read-a-Thon: volunteers reading select library books to elementary school classes
  • CHAI House Shabbat: Shabbat dinner for CHAI (Community Homes for Adults Inc.) residents and their families
  • Serve as docents for Old City Park holiday events
