Jump-Start your Summer Reading at Temple's Library

Here are five new books recommended by Anjelica Ruiz, Director of Library and Archives.

"Ariel Samson: Freelance Rabbi" by MaNishtana: Ariel Samson is a 20-something black Orthodox rabbi who is figuring out life and what it means to float between two worlds. 
"How to Understand Israel in 60 Days or Less" by Sarah Glidden: A graphic memoir about the author's Birthright experience.
"Inheritance" by Dani Shapiro: What happens when you accidentally find out via Ancestry DNA that your father is not really your father?
"El Iluminado: A Graphic Novel" by Ilan Stavanc and Steven Sheinkin: A graphic novel that presents a secret history of religion in the Americas in an unexpected way.
"Lucky Broken Girl" by Ruth Behar: A multicultural coming-of-age story that centers on a Cuban Jewish girl who is struggling to adjust to her new life in the United States.
