Shabbat Morning/Saturday Morning

Shabbat Service, 10:30 a.m., Lefkowitz Chapel
The Shabbat morning service in Lefkowitz Chapel is vibrant and highly participatory, with music led by our soloist Randy Pearlman, our monthly cantorial intern from the HUC-JIR School of Sacred Music, a group of lay music leaders, or Cantor Richard Cohn. Mishkan Tefilah is our siddur. The service is generally led by a rabbi, with the Torah reading provided by one of our significant corps of adult Torah readers. Chever Torah (study of the weekly Torah portion) precedes this service at 9:00 a.m. in Linz Hall.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Shabbat Services, 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Olan Sanctuary
Our congregation celebrates with families as their children become bar or bat mitzvah. These services, led by our young men and women, together with our clergy, are open to the community.
