Erev Shabbat/Friday Night
6:15 p.m. Service: Held Weekly in Olan Sanctuary or Pollman Hall
This service, led by our rabbis, is warm and participatory, and includes a special program for children who are not yet preparing for bar or bat mitzvah. Music for this service is led by Cantor Cohn, and typically features piano, keyboard and clarinet. The prayer book for this service is Mishkan Tefillah, the latest published prayer book of the Reform movement. This service ends by 7:30 p.m. in order to give participants an opportunity to share Shabbat dinner with family and friends. Light snacks are available before the service and an Oneg Shabbat follows it.
8:15 Service: Held monthly in Olan Sanctuary
This service, featuring the Union Prayer Book and led by our rabbis, reflects the majestic style of Classical Reform worship, with music led by Cantor Cohn and our renowned Temple choir, and organ accompaniment.
