A dynamic, vital, and progressive congregation, Temple Emanu-El is proud of our place in Dallas history and in the Jewish community. Whether you are single or a couple, new to Dallas or have lived here many years, are just starting out or nearing retirement, you will have many opportunities to become rooted in the Temple Emanu-El community. Because of our size and diversity, we meet the needs of our congregants through a broad set of worship experiences, educational opportunities, and religious and community outreach programs.
A member of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), Temple Emanu-El strives to be a welcoming, inclusive Reform Jewish community.Creating community is an organic part of our congregational culture. Our multi-generational community is diverse, with backgrounds ranging from traditionally religious to secular. We are newcomers and long time members; adults and children; individuals, couples and families; gay and straight; Jews by birth, Jews by choice, and Jews with non-Jewish partners.
