Information Regarding Child Care

Child Care Reservation Forms were part of the High Holy Day Booklet included in the first mailing. Please call 214.706.0000 if you need assistance regarding the forms.

The following information disscusses child care reservations.

Child care for children ages 6 months to 7 years is available during High Holy Days services. Children ages 7 and older may attend services with an adult, except for the Yizkor Memorial Service for which children must be ten years old. The cost of child care is $18 per service, $65 per child all day on Yom Kippur day, and with a $120 maximum per family. Please remember to provide snacks for your child.
To register for child care, complete the form included in the High Holy Day Booklet and return in the enclosed envelope, with your check made payable to Temple Emanu-El, by September 2.
If you wish to cancel your child care reservation, you will receive a full refund of your fee if cancellation is made by September 15.
Registration and advance payment MUST be received for children who will be in child care. Please remember that we can only accommodate families that have sent in the registration form and accompanying payment by September 2.

Additional information to keep in mind once your reservation has been made.

Your child(ren) must wear their name tags while attending the child care program (these tags will me mailed to you during the second High Holy Day mailing).
Child care rooms will be open one hour before the service, and a parent or adult guardian must sign the child(ren) in and out.
Please bring snacks for your child(ren) while he/she/they are in child care. (Children in child care may eat snacks and lunch on Yom Kippur day.)
Please provide enough diapers for your child(ren) to the child care staff.
We only accommodate child care requests that have been reserved and paid for by September 2.
