Parent/Family Programming
Friday Night Ayzeh Kef Program Every Friday night during Shabbat services, children are called out before the sermon to participate in a Judaic-related activity. This may include art projects, camp games, or music. They return to services immediately after the Kaddish.
ShabbaTogether
ShabbaTogether is a program to engage families of school-age children in fun ways to help position Shabbat as a valuable and meaningful component of busy families’ lives. Each ShabbaTogether experience will include the 6:15 Friday night service, followed by Shabbat dinner and activities for children of all ages. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend Shabbat with your family while joining the larger Temple community. If you would like to get involved or would like additional information, please contact Diana Coben Einstein at deinstein@tedallas.org or 214-706-0000 x126.
Holiday Celebrations
Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Purim…these holidays provide a great opportunity for families to join together for Services, celebration, activities, and food! Each holiday celebration will have specific components for children of all ages so everyone feels the joy and Jewish connection of the holiday.
We greatly appreciate any parent who would like to volunteer at ShabbaTogether events or Holiday Celebrations. If you would like to get involved or would like additional information, please contact Diana Coben Einstein at 214-706-0000 x126. Tot Shabbat
