Weisberg Library

The Weisberg Library is a collection of adult materials, dedicated to promoting Jewish study, preserving the literature of the Jewish people, and providing opportunities for lifelong learning. Serving the congregation and the greater Dallas community, the library features over 12,000 volumes covering a wide range of Jewish topics. Jewish history and theology, Israel, Torah study and commentary, holidays and life cycles, Jewish life around the world, fiction, art, music and cooking are just some of the subject areas available for study. The library also subscribes to over 30 Jewish publications and is home to the David Jay Leibs Video Collection and the Simon Sargon Jewish Music Collection.

At the Weisberg Library, visitors can listen to the Gerald Klein Oral History of Temple Emanu-El, access the Internet, hear the chanting of every weekly Torah and Haftorah portion, prepare a D’var Torah, learn 10 ways to prepare matzah balls, trace genealogical histories, or listen to inspiring sermons from a variety of speakers.

Budner Youth Library

The Budner Youth Library is home to over 5,000 books for children and young adults. It also contains a growing collection of educational resources that are used weekly by religious school teachers. Religious school students use the Budner library to listen to Jewish stories, conduct research, and check out books to read at home. It’s also a great place to curl up on a bean bag chair with good book!
