Education and Torah at Temple Emanu-El

In the spring of the year 2000 Temple Emanu-El affirmed and embraced a Core Values Statement. The wide array of forums and environments for Adult Jewish Learning detailed in these pages are tangible expressions of our statement that:

“We affirm the power of Jewish learning to create and deepen Jewish identity and commitment. Life-long Jewish learning—from childhood through adulthood—brings Jewish values to our daily lives, nurtures spiritual experiences, and both anchors and challenges us to reach out to a world in need.”

The classes, workshops, seminars, lectures and programs are organized around our Core Values Statement, with the hope that we can turn our words into action. As members of Temple Emanu-El we can:
