What Does the Couples Club Do?

The socials are held approximately every six weeks, and approximately two weeks after each social a Steering Committee meets to discuss and evaluate the previous social and make its recommendations to the membership-at-large. The Steering Committee normally meets in a restaurant to have dinner together before their meeting. Any member of the “Club” is welcome and encouraged to attend the Steering Committee meetings. Each couple is also asked to serve on one social planning committee each year.

In addition to having socials, the Couples Club also supports Temple Emanu-El by contributing financially to its Annual Campaign, and is in the process of broadening its support of Temple, which provides much support at no charge to the Couples Club.
