How we Share the Care: Babies and Booties

The birth of a child is an exciting moment in the lives of parents, grandparents, and all of the friends and family involved. Temple Emanu-El strives to be an integral part of its families' lives and helps celebrate the births of our communities' newest members through the Babies and Booties program.

Every newborn or adopted child to a Temple Emanu-El member's family receives a beautiful package with a pair of hand-knitted booties to welcome their new arrival. The booties are made with love by Temple volunteers, shown in the photo, and are uniquely designed with little feet in mind.
