Dallas suffers from a shocking and little known housing crisis. Did you know that in order to afford a market rate apartment, three minimum wage workers must live together? Did you know that in order to purchase a home a family must earn six times the minimum wage?

We invite you to an Affordable Housing Forum on Thursday, March 26, at 7:00 p.m. in Tobian Hall. The Forum is entitled “Chasing the American Dream-Affordable Housing and the Role of the Private Sector in the Public Good” Our panel will include Mary Suhm, Dallas City Manager; Brent Brown, AIA, Founder/Director, buildingcommunity WORKSHOP; and Regina Nippert, Executive Director of Dallas Faith Communities Coalition.

This forum is made possible by the Jill Stone Social Action Fund.
