Rabbi Adam Allenberg

Rabbi Adam M. Allenberg was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in Philosophy and Modern Hebrew and was ordained by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles in 2007. While studying in LA, Rabbi Allenberg also earned a Masters in Jewish Education from the Rhea Hirsch School of Education.

He spent two years working as the Program Director at Congregation Beth Am in Los Altos Hills, CA. In addition to playing the guitar, mandolin, and hand drums, Rabbi Allenberg has taken up playing the banjo.

Rabbi Allenberg serves as our Director of Congregational Learning. He is married to Lauren Marias Allenberg, a native Californian and clinical social worker.
