A Jewish Guide to Death and Dying was written by many members of Temple Emanu-El over the past ten years.Two of Judaism's greatest mitzvot are to comfort the sorrowing and ensure that those who die are interred with dignity and love. In fulfillment of these mitzvot, and due to the contributions of countless hands and hearts, this guide was written.
